AOSA provides charitable donations to organizations impacting our local NAF Atsugi community, and scholarships to Zama High School seniors and eligible NAF Atsugi spouses. Last year (2008-2009), AOSA distributed over $14,000 in donations and scholarships! For more information on community grants, clickhere. For more information about scholarships, clickhere.

AOSA fundraises throughout the year to support our charitable donations and scholarships! Our two main income sources of income come from operating: Ichiban Collectibles and our Annual Bazaar. Ichiban Collectibles is a boutique gift shop specializing in Asian merchandise located in the Cinema 77 building next to the movie theater entrance. Ichiban is open for shopping on Tuesdays from 3-6pm, Wednesdays from 10-3pm, and Thursdays from 3-6pm. To learn more about Ichiban, clickhere. Next year's Annual Bazaar will take place at Ranger Gym on December 4-5, 2010. With vendors from all over Asia, this is a sale you won't want to miss. To volunteer at AOSA's Bazaar, clickhere.

AOSA builds friendships with our Japanese counterparts, the ladies of AWA (Japanese Self Defense Force Atsugi Wives Association) through monthly cultural exchange friendship events. For a list of upcoming events, clickhere. To view photos from our past friendship events, clickhere.

AOSA builds friendships and provides support for our spouses outside of their individual commands. AOSA members are invited to: attend quarterly general membership meetings, participate in monthly special interest groups, clickhere, and serve on volunteer committees, clickhere.
